On the September 10 episode of the Not Just Football podcast, Rodgers said he first met Brittani in 2017, when she was preparing to leave the United States for Europe.
Rodgers said he regretted not asking her to stay or proposing to her at the time.
“I was emotionally unavailable for those seven or eight years because I’d met the person that was going to change my life,” he said, reflecting on his previous relationships.

He disputed the narrative that he had ended the relationship and caused Woodley emotional distress, claiming that she had removed her engagement ring and told him she no longer wanted to be with him.
