Braff dated Moore between 2004 and 2006, then shared a relationship with Bagley from 2009 until 2014.

Zach Braff’s Relationship History
Braff’s personal life has attracted attention alongside his long-running career as J.D. on Scrubs.
Although J.D. eventually married and divorced Elliot, Braff’s real-life romantic journey followed a different path.
Today, Braff remains single while continuing his acting and directing work following the show’s revival.
Donald Faison and CaCee Cobb
Donald Faison and CaCee Cobb share the cast’s notable connection because Braff helped bring them together.
Faison met Cobb at Braff’s 30th birthday celebration in 2005, beginning a relationship that led toward marriage.
The couple became engaged in 2011 and married at Braff’s private home on December 15, 2012.
Braff served as a groomsman, while Jessica Simpson joined the wedding party as one of Cobb’s friends.
Faison and Cobb later welcomed two children together, Rocco and Wilder, while Faison has four older children.
A Friendship That Changed Everything
Braff and Faison remained close friends long after Scrubs ended, keeping their real-life bond remarkably strong.
Their friendship eventually connected Faison with Cobb, creating one of television’s more memorable off-screen relationship stories.
Judy Reyes and George Valencia
Judy Reyes has maintained a long-term relationship with director George Valencia, and they share one child together.
The couple welcomed their child in 2009 and later collaborated through creative projects and nonprofit work.
Their relationship has continued alongside Reyes’ acting career and Valencia’s work behind the camera.
Sarah Chalke and Jamie Afifi
Sarah Chalke and Jamie Afifi stayed engaged for more than a decade before separating in 2022.
They welcomed two children during their relationship, with Charlie born in 2009 and Frances arriving in 2016.
Chalke continues portraying Elliot Reid, whose complicated relationship with J.D. remains central to Scrubs history.
John C. McGinley and Nichole McGinley
John C. McGinley found love with Nichole McGinley after an unexpected beach meeting involving his son Max.
The couple met in 2004, later married, and welcomed daughters Billie and Kate during their life together.
Their relationship began through an unexpected family moment rather than a traditional Hollywood introduction.
Ken Jenkins and Katharine Houghton
Ken Jenkins has enjoyed one of the longest marriages connected to the original Scrubs cast members.
Jenkins married actress and playwright Katharine Houghton in January 1970, and their marriage has continued across decades.
Their story stands apart from Scrubs romances, showing how the cast’s personal lives sometimes followed different paths.
Scrubs Cast Relationships Continue Drawing Interest
The revival has renewed attention around these relationships as longtime viewers reconnect with familiar faces and stories.
While Scrubs created memorable romances onscreen, several cast members built equally interesting relationships away from television.
From Braff’s dating history to Faison’s unexpected meeting, their stories extend beyond Sacred Heart Hospital.
The cast’s real-life relationships offer another reason longtime fans remain curious about their lives today.
