Dart’s Girlfriend Sets Tone After Season-Ending Injury as she supports him through recovery while preparing for Week three.
Dart’s Girlfriend Sets Tone After Season-Ending Injury
Dart’s Girlfriend Sets Tone After Season-Ending Injury as Marissa Ayers promises unwavering support during his recovery ahead.
New York Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart suffered a knee injury during Week Two against the Los Angeles Rams.
The injury ended Dart’s regular season after doctors determined that surgery would keep him sidelined for months.
Marissa Ayers responded emotionally, promising to support Dart throughout his recovery while encouraging him during this difficult period.
Ayers Sends Dart An Emotional Message
Ayers shared a heartfelt message describing the past several days as emotional following Dart’s devastating injury.
She emphasized Dart’s determination and love for football while promising continued support throughout his recovery journey ahead.
Ayers also encouraged Dart to maintain his strength despite temporarily stepping away from football during recovery.
Her message arrived shortly before the Giants prepared for their Week Three matchup without their starting quarterback.
Jaxson Dart’s Breakthrough Season Suddenly Changes
Dart entered his second NFL season after showing significant promise during his rookie campaign with New York.
He opened this season impressively, completing 23 passes for 230 yards and three touchdowns against Dallas.
The Giants won that opening game, creating considerable excitement surrounding Dart and the team’s upcoming season.
However, Dart lasted only seven offensive plays against Los Angeles before suffering the knee injury.
Giants Turn Toward Jameis Winston
The Giants have turned their offense over to veteran quarterback Jameis Winston following Dart’s season-ending regular-season injury.
Winston replaced Dart against Los Angeles but struggled while completing eleven passes for 111 yards and one interception.
Coach John Harbaugh confirmed Winston would start while the Giants continued evaluating additional quarterback options for depth.
The coaching staff plans to adjust the offense around Winston’s strengths while Dart begins his rehabilitation process.
Ayers Continues Supporting Dart Publicly
Ayers and Dart made their relationship public earlier this year after first meeting during October 2025.
Since then, they have appeared together at major events including the Kentucky Derby and FIFA World Cup.
Ayers also visited Dart during training camp, highlighting their relationship despite his demanding football schedule.
Her latest message showed continued support after Dart’s promising season suddenly ended because of his knee injury.
Recovery Becomes Dart’s New Focus
Dart remains involved with the Giants while beginning the recovery process following surgery and his regular-season absence.
Harbaugh said Dart remains determined despite disappointment, emphasizing that his football journey continues beyond this season.
The quarterback could potentially return during the postseason, although the Giants have not provided any definite timetable.
For now, Ayers plans to remain beside Dart while he focuses on healing and rebuilding his strength.
