Rams star Davante Adams reveals he owns one of only two Taco Bell Purple Cards, giving him unlimited free food at the fast-food chain.
Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Davante Adams has plenty of impressive items in his collection, but one unusual possession may be his favorite.
The NFL star recently revealed that he owns an ultra-exclusive Taco Bell Purple Card, a special card that he says allows him to get unlimited food from the fast-food chain.
According to Adams, only two people currently have the coveted card, making it an unusually rare perk even by celebrity standards.
Davante Adams Shows Off Rare Taco Bell Card
Adams revealed the card during an appearance on Up & Adams, where he pulled it out and explained how it works.
The Rams receiver compared the Purple Card to an exclusive black credit card, except it can only be used at Taco Bell.
He joked that the card is unlimited and said he could theoretically spend millions of dollars at the restaurant if he wanted to throw a massive Taco Bell party.
Only Two People Have the Purple Card
The most surprising part of Adams’ revelation was just how limited the club is.
Adams said only two people currently have the Purple Card.
The other known holder is comedian and actor Kevin Hart, who previously showed off his own card while visiting a Taco Bell drive-thru.
That puts Adams and Hart in a particularly unusual fast-food club.
Why Davante Adams Has the Exclusive Perk
Adams has had a relationship with Taco Bell for several years, including appearances in advertisements for the brand.
The connection became especially notable in 2022 when Adams reportedly asked the company for an unusual perk involving Taco Bell at his home. The partnership has continued, eventually leading to the creation of his personalized Purple Card.
Adams Calls It One of His Best Flexes
Despite his NFL success and the many luxuries that come with being a star athlete, Adams appeared particularly amused by the Taco Bell card.
He described it as one of his coolest personal flexes.
The card even carries his name, meaning it is not simply a generic promotional pass that could be handed to another person.
Adams Is Also Making Noise on the Field
The unusual fast-food revelation comes during a strong stretch for Adams on the football field.
The veteran receiver delivered a huge performance in the Rams’ Week 2 victory over the New York Giants, catching eight passes for 195 yards and two touchdowns.
Los Angeles won the game 28-6, giving the team a bounce-back victory after its season-opening loss to the San Francisco 49ers.
A Big Season for the Rams Receiver
Adams has remained one of the league’s most recognizable veteran receivers while continuing to make an impact for Los Angeles.
His combination of production on the field and personality away from it has kept him in the spotlight.
Now, his latest headline has little to do with football and everything to do with tacos.
A Fast-Food Club With Almost No Members
Exclusive restaurant cards have long been a celebrity novelty, but Adams’ revelation stands out because of the tiny number of people who reportedly have access to this particular perk.
With Adams saying there are only two Purple Card holders, the Rams star and Kevin Hart currently occupy a club that most fast-food fans can only imagine joining.
For Adams, the card is more than a free-food benefit. It has become an entertaining symbol of his long-running relationship with Taco Bell — and one of the more unexpected perks of NFL stardom.
